In 1997, the Southwest Car Wash Association (SCWA) partnered with San Antonio Water System to create the first certified car wash program. This partnership helped to develop new standards for both existing and proposed car wash facilities within the San Antonio area, resulting in significant water savings. With direct input and cooperation from the car wash industry, the SAWS WaterSaver Car Wash Program has continued to evolve over the past 11 years.

Today's WaterSaver Car Wash Program results in real water savings, protects water quality, provides recognition and financial incentives for program participants and works with local nonprofits seeking to earn money for worthwhile projects.

Vehicle wash fundraisers. Effective March 1, 2005, any vehicle wash fundraiser shall be conducted at a vehicle wash facility using such facility's equipment.

Bee Clean Car Wash is “WaterSaver” certified by International Carwash Association (ICA) and the Southwest Car Wash Association (SCWA).

Another very important aspect to our business is our commitment to a clean environment. Our commitment goes far beyond what our customers see. Our irrigation system for our beautiful landscaping is provided by recycled water that is 100% safe for the environment. We use several devices within the wash to reduce the amount of energy used to operate. The glass windows and doors that line our wash tunnel were installed to maximize the natural light, in turn, reducing the use of energy required to run lighting. Over 80% of the water used to wash our customer’s vehicle is captured, cleaned and recycled using state-of-the-art reclamation systems. Even our concrete lot was poured to reduce the use of oil based products such as asphalt. Washing your vehicle at Bee Clean Car wash is the most environmentally responsible way to wash your car. Respect for our environment and energy conservation are two of our top priorities. When you leave our facility you can proudly say “I went green today”!

Bee Clean Car Wash has firsthand experience with just how frightening it is to hear that someone you love has been diagnosed with cancer. Ms. Nami, wife of the owner Mr. Bobby Nami, is a two time survivor. Every time you purchase a wash, your change will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
